The seeds for
A Call To Remembrance were planted in the midst of tragedy and sadness on Good Friday, April 10, 2009, with news from the Secretary of the Army that David’s son, CPL Jason Pautsch (20), had been killed in Mosul, Iraq, along with four other members of his platoon from the 4th Infantry Division.  In the time since, the LORD brought comfort and healing, but He also brought a new sense of purpose.  David came to realize that his family’s significant investment in this country needs to be protected.  The reason Jason fought and died in Iraq, is also the reason why his oldest son, SPC Jared Pautsch, fought in Afghanistan…and that is to protect and defend the Constitution of this dear Republic.  The first Remembrance was held on April 17, 2010 in the Quad Cities.  It is his desire that your appreciation and love of this precious Nation, and its principled Foundations, would grow in intensity as a result of your attendance at this event.
